Rachel Mason is a lifelong lover of books and stories turned professional editor. She vividly remembers riding along in her parent’s car and being so disgruntled that she couldn’t read all the words that were passing her by from outside the car window. Once she learned to read there was no stopping her and she began to consume books at a rapid pace. A habit that has never left her.
All through school Rachel favored her English classes the best and went on to graduate from California State University of Long Beach with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Human and Child Development. Over the years she has enjoyed helping students and peers with their writing, so when an opportunity came her way one hot summer day to edit professionally, it was a Texas July miracle! She often talks about how lucky she is to be able to do a job she loves so much.
Rachel never thought she would leave California but she followed her husband to Austin and can’t imagine ever leaving this amazing city. Besides an obvious love of reading, Rachel loves live music, hiking and cruising around town in her ’51 Ford with the windows rolled down.
